Inside Our Tangential Flow Filtration

This high-performance filtration system is designed to meet the demands of even the most challenging applications with a maximum filtration performance of up to 0.5 square meters of total membrane surface area. The system uses tangential flow filtration (TFF) or tangential filtration, which allows for continuous operation and minimizes clogging and fouling of the filter membrane. Available in both multi-use and single-use options, with 5L or 10L working volume vessels, it offers maximum flexibility for your downstream processes.

 

The system is fully automatic by default, using differential pressure, transmembrane pressure or crossflow as control regulation for diafiltration and concentration processes. It can handle the most demanding downstream processes, including ultrafiltration, microfiltration or nanofiltration, using cassette, hollow fiber, and ceramic filters. eLAB®

The eLAB TFF® measures 780 mm in length, 532 mm in width, and 909 mm in height.

The eLAB Tangential Flow Filtration system is constructed from high-quality stainless steel AISI 316L, which is compliant with ASME BPE specifications (SF4). As an alternative option, the vessel can be manufactured from borosilicate glass. The system is equipped with a user-friendly, capacitive touch screen, featuring a 7-inch glass display.

Multiways pumps, all the pumps are variable and can be configurated to also work as fixes ones.

The eLAB Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) system has been engineered with AUTO-CIP functionality and equipped with automatic valves, enabling the seamless execution of complete Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures. Additionally, the system is designed for compatibility with autoclave sterilization for enhanced ease and efficiency.

The holder, which is manufactured in-house from high-quality stainless steel, is adaptable to a wide range of filters and can be utilized for microfiltration, nanofiltration, or ultrafiltration processes. It has a filtration surface area ranging from 0.1 square meters to 0.5 square meters, providing ample space to accommodate a diverse range of cassette, hollow fiber, and ceramic filters. This versatility and compatibility ensure maximum efficiency and flexibility in filtration operations.

The eLAB Tangential Flow Filtration system is a highly effective device, ideal for diafiltration and concentration processes in a wide range of applications within the biotechnology and food industries, including the purification  of recombinant proteins, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and others.

In-house manufactured stainless steel Holder

Our in-house manufactured stainless steel Holder is designed to accommodate a wide variety of cassette, ceramic, and hollow fiber solutions. With a filtration surface area that ranges from 0.1m² to 0.5m², it provides ample space to meet a wide range of filtration requirements. The fully automated Clean-In-Place (CIP) system features valves, enabling comprehensive CIP cycles to be executed throughout the entire equipment, including the vessel, piping, and filtration module. The peristaltic pump, which features a 2-in-1 concept with multi-way pumps that can be adjusted and even used as fixed pumps, offers added versatility and efficiency.
